USATF TRA Masters Cross Country championships

At Coopers Lake Campgrounds the home course of University of Slippery Rock Cross Country.
It was a mixed event with 15-16, 17-18, Open and masters.
I was third in the race and was the first masters.
I ran a 19:37 not a great time but I was minutes ahead of the other masters and gave in to the younger runners.

This course is tricky and need to be careful the first 400 meters, since it’s the largest hill of the race. The hill is partially rerun in the 3rd kilometer but excludes the steepest climb.

The best part of this race I won $50.

2015 PIAA CC championship

After a injury plagued 2015 freshman season(Achilles and bruised knees) and fighting tough mental challenges, Mark regains his previous form to lead the Greensburg-Salem team.
In the PIAA AA division, Mark ran a 17:07, placed 38th overall and was the #3 freshman.
This is at 3/4 mile, the GS team got caught in the middle of the pack and had to work ahead in traffic.

At the 2.2 mile, Mark was in 35th and the first GS runner. His teammate was just behind out of view.

Final 100 meters. The GS team is freshman strong. Mark and his teammate 2 seconds behind.

Pictured below is one senior, three juniors, sophomore and two freshman. Both freshman were the GS top runners at PIAA. Not pictured is a third freshman. Who didn’t run due to injury at the Red, White and Blue CC invite. This GS boys team will make a serious run for the 2016 PIAA title.

USAF Half Marathon September 19th

1:35 60th overall, 6th division 40-44,
Worst half marathon ever due to I was sick and did sleep well too. I was in 37th place at five miles in with a slowing avg pace of 6;35. This was the first race I walked due to feeling crappy. I finished barely.
