How To setup the Safety portion of the RunSafe+ and BikeSafe+ Apps:
1.) Recipient Phone Number: This is phone number who will receive the emergency text message. Use area code and number. Do not use Country code or () -. Example: Emergency cell number is (111) 222-3333. Enter Recipient Phone Number:: 1112223333.
2.) Recipient Mobile SMS Gateway Number: This is the Phone Carrier who will receive the emergency text. Use the Gateway Carrier List Below to find your Carrier Gateway. Enter with the “@”. Example: your emergency number uses AirCel, use @aircel.co.in
3.) Your Email: This needs to be a valid email, either 1.) use your email address or 2.) another emergency contact email. An alert will be sent to this email. For testing, use your email.
4.) Sent Recipient Message: Enter a short message. For example: This is John send help.
Testing: Enter your Cell Phone Number, Phone Gateway and your Email address, save the Settings. Start the app, allow GPS to connect and sit still for 3 minutes, the device will start to message you after 90 seconds, remain still, wait another 90 seconds until TXT SENT is displayed. The text message and email will be sent and received in 1-2 minutes. Note: The email may be listed in spam folder..
